Probably should let it be known that I’m not doing freelance for the time being. I enjoy coming home after designing all day and being able to think about something Else! Maybe I’ll use the extra brain power to make more videos or tackle the huge pile o’ unfinished crafts in my closet! Who knows what the stars have in store for me?! But for right now, I’d like to save my creativity for my day job.
While we’re on the subject, I just did a site for some old chums Courtney & Earl, a married musical duo called The Long Tangles! I think it turned out just darling, and they’ve already started playing with it! :)
I actually own this Feist poster…. I can’t really tell if the Shutterstock author is copying the Feist poster designer, or if they happen to be the same person… But either way, it’s curious.
Woops I accidentally bought eleven posters at Flatstock this year! I meant to get five… But it looks as though I subconsciously knew what I was doing, because now the walls of my bedroom AND office are full! :)
Please get a life and stop writing moronic/disgusting messages on my design blog. I’d block you, but I’d rather document your idiocy so that I can report you to your ISP. Do not contact me any further.
And to everyone else, sorry to publicly announce this minuscule burden. But I hafta be able to prove that I’ve told him to stop contacting me so that I can get him banned from his ISP if he continues. And since he never leaves a real email address, it must be public!
I dunno why he comes here, of all the sexier and/or more educational places on the internet!
My friend (and host of my site!) asked me to make a new logo for his link-building company. Just finished it today so I’m excited to show it!
He knew what he liked and didn’t like about logos and had a pretty clear idea of the style. So I gave him 30 ideas, and this was one of them. The arrows represent other sites pointing to one site; the negative space creates the plus sign, representing addition; and the four colors represent his company’s four pillars: Education, Expertise, Technology, and Community. :)
(he wanted one to have a round “m&m” feel to it haha)
